About Us

Once upon a time there were three individuals that felt a need for battle; they yearned for the action of diving behind a Student Life Centre couch while blasting away at the enemies before them! One of the three individuals found a glorious place where weapons for their New Age — laser tag guns — could be purchased. To his companions, he said, “suckers, look!” and they saw that it was good. Upon arrival the three assembled the guns and prepared for battle. After some dry, they rallied others to the mayhem. Before they knew it, battles were taking place twice a week with a growing mass of other warriors from far away lands. More weapons were called for, and the call was answered; so the fun continued. These battles rage on even today. They can be commonly seen at late hours in the SLC.

Skaught, Kibz, and Paul are these three individuals, and we decided to make a UWLT (University of Waterloo Laser Tag); we’re in the process of making it an official club. We led the group casually last term, running two laser tag games every week. The games lasted for hours and were a lot of fun. People came out for various reasons whether it to get a work out or to get out of work, but all of them came out to have fun, and that is what we strive for in every game: TO HAVE FUN! We really enjoy running the matches and participating in them; we’re constantly looking for more ways to increase the awesomeness of laser tag.
